Last 24 Hours Illustration
Sorry for the long silence on this blog. I have been spending my time off-line drawing comics as a new creative outlet, which has taken up the time I used to spend writing this blog. Lately, I have been starting to draw illustrations pertaining to the end-of-life and I thought it would be appropriate to start posting these on this blog. Definitely a change of pace from this blog's former content.

Thank you for posting this. I'm just entering nursing school and I'm looking up nursing blogs. My greatgrandmother died a few years ago and she had death rattles and I never knew exactly what they were other than indicators for dying.
Again, Thank you and blesses
Great blog and this information is very useful to everyone.
I love this--I have my students draw pictures of a person with the condition we are studying--a good way of putting a lot of information together.
EOL is so mysterious to so many--we hospice types are explaining things to people who don't really want to hear it--this illustration is wonderful.
nice post. thanks for the information.

You have created a cartoon that is marvelous in its simplicity and yet can be just the educational level that families and significant others need to be able to grasp what is happening to their loved ones. Even people who are extremely intelligent seem to regress to a basic survival mode as they watch their loved one move from one existence to another. Do you have others?
